Focaldata is hiring for a FTC (6 Months) Senior Research Executive within our Data Services team. This job is for you if you enjoy...

  • Getting complex, long-running projects under control and advising on improvements for the long-term
  • A 20-market study running smoothly gives you more satisfaction than producing a slide deck
  • What you'll do

You'll run Focaldata's trackers and multi-market projects from start to finish.

  • Owning trackers and multi-market projects end to end. You'll handle questionnaire design when required, scripting, translation coordination, fieldwork, quotas, data cleaning and data tables, across waves and across countries.
  • Keeping long-term projects consistent. You'll protect trend data and version control, and document changes.
  • Managing fieldwork closely. You'll advise and watch incidence, quotas and data quality market by market, and flag risks before they become problems.
  • Being the client's trusted operational lead. Clients will rely on you for clear updates, sound methodological advice and realistic timelines. You'll lead the day-to-day communication.
  • Making delivery better. You'll work with our product and engineering teams to improve the platform and our processes, and suggest how we can run trackers and multi-market work more efficiently
  • Who you are (skills and experience)

    Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years' experience in quantitative research, fieldwork management or research operations.
  • Skills:

  • Hands-on experience running trackers and/or multi-country studies
  • Strong survey design and scripting skills
  • Experience cleaning raw data and running data tables, with high standards for accuracy
  • Excellent organisation. You can manage several long-running projects at once without dropping details.
  • Clear, confident communication with clients, including when you need to push back on timelines or scope
  • Who you are (mindset)

  • You get things done, manage your own time and don't need chasing.
  • You're steady under pressure. Multi-market timelines slip, and you stay calm and keep things moving.
  • You're process-minded. You like building checklists, templates and QA steps that make the next wave easier.
  • You use AI well. We're a tech-enabled agency, so we want people who use AI to work faster and smarter in combination with your existing market research expertise
  • Focaldata is an equal opportunities employer. We believe in the value of a diverse and inclusive workforce for our business, team and customers. We encourage all applications regardless of age, disability, gender, marriage, pregnancy, maternity, race or nationality, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.

We also understand that certain groups may not feel empowered to apply unless they match every single requirement. Please do apply even if you don't match 100% of every single requirement!
