Skills
The role
Help shape the digital future of Farrow & Ball.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Digital & Transformation team and play a key role in shaping how Farrow & Ball works, connects and grows.
This is an opportunity to lead meaningful digital projects across our business, from eCommerce and business systems to technology integrations and wider transformation initiatives. You'll bring people, ideas and technology together, turning ambitious plans into lasting improvements for our colleagues and customers.
Based at our home in Wimborne, Dorset, you'll work closely with our digital teams and colleagues across Hempel, with opportunities to contribute to projects across our other Decorative brands.
Make great ideas happen
You'll take ownership of complex digital projects, bringing clarity, structure and momentum to every stage of delivery.
Working alongside talented colleagues across technology, digital and the wider business, you'll make sure the right people are connected, priorities are clear and projects deliver real value.
What you'll be doing
- Lead digital change. Take the lead on projects spanning eCommerce, business systems, integrations, IT operations and digital transformation, ensuring successful delivery from planning through to implementation.
- Turn plans into progress. Develop clear project plans, timelines, budgets and delivery roadmaps, keeping everyone aligned on priorities and outcomes.
- Bring people together. Work closely with developers, solution architects, product owners, business teams and external partners to turn business needs into practical solutions.
- Keep projects on track. Proactively manage risks, dependencies and competing priorities, finding solutions and removing barriers to progress.
- Create clarity and confidence. Provide meaningful updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring decisions are informed, challenges are visible and progress is measurable.
- Make improvements that last. Strengthen how we plan, manage and deliver digital projects, encouraging collaboration, continuous improvement and effective ways of working.
- Think beyond delivery. Keep the customer and business impact at the centre of every project, ensuring changes make a genuine difference.
Bring your experience. Make your mark.
You're someone who enjoys turning complexity into clarity. You know how to balance structure with flexibility, bring different perspectives together and keep things moving, even when priorities change.
You'll have experience delivering complex digital or technology projects and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels.
We'd love to hear from you if you bring
- A strong track record of managing and delivering complex digital, technology or business transformation projects.
- Experience working across multiple teams, stakeholders and external technology partners.
- Confidence managing project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and governance.
- An understanding of Agile, traditional or hybrid project management approaches, with the flexibility to choose what works best.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to make complex information clear and accessible.
- A collaborative approach, strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to influence decisions and drive progress.
- Experience working with technical teams to deliver solutions that meet real business needs.
Experience in eCommerce, retail, manufacturing or large-scale business systems would be particularly valuable. Knowledge of ERP platforms such as IFS, or qualifications in PRINCE2, Scrum or SAFe, would also be welcome, but aren't essential.
Above all, we're looking for someone who builds trust, enjoys working with others and takes pride in delivering positive change.
Add your colour to our future
At Farrow & Ball, we're proud of where we've come from and excited about where we're going. As part of Hempel, you'll join a business that values fresh thinking, collaboration and the opportunity to make a difference.
We believe the best ideas come from people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, valued and able to be themselves.
If you're ready to bring your experience, ideas and enthusiasm to the next chapter of Farrow & Ball, we'd love to hear from you. If you require any reasonable adjustments or additional support during the recruitment process, please let us know.
