We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to support our client's factory scale-up activity, with a particular focus on automation, production environments, digital manufacturing and One Connect.

The role will support the factory scale-up programme and help establish approaches and automation standards that can be proven at the Neon site in Switzerland and subsequently scaled across our client's global manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will combine strong programme/project management capability with hands-on understanding of manufacturing and production environments, ideally gained within consumer health or FMCG.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate programme activity supporting factory scale-up and automation initiatives.
  • Support the development of a scalable approach to automation that can be applied across our client's global manufacturing footprint.
  • Coordinate activities across production, packing-line automation, digital technology and engineering.
  • Support the development of end-to-end connectivity between production and packing equipment.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand how production-equipment data can be used to provide insights into equipment performance and operation.
  • Support activity relating to One Connect, the edge-device environment used to connect production and packing-line equipment.
  • Help establish automation standards at the pilot site that can subsequently be adopted globally.
  • Consider regional variations when scaling solutions, including different regulatory, market and equipment requirements.
  • Provide the programme governance, stakeholder coordination and project management disciplines required to take initiatives from pilot through to wider deployment.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Strong Programme Management experience, or substantial Senior Project Management experience with the capability to step into a programme-level role.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Factory scale-up experience.
  • Experience with industrial or manufacturing automation.
  • Understanding of production and packing lines and the equipment operating within them.
  • Knowledge of the data generated by production equipment and how it can be used operationally.
  • Experience coordinating complex programmes involving multiple technical and business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of how manufacturing solutions and standards can be developed for global deployment.

Highly Desirable

  • Consumer Health / FMCG manufacturing experience.
  • Robotics and/or cobotics experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing / Operational Excellence background.
  • Experience with connected factory or industrial-edge technologies.
  • Understanding of end-to-end equipment connectivity.
  • Experience establishing or scaling global manufacturing/automation standards.
  • Knowledge of regional considerations affecting automation deployments, particularly across markets such as the US and China.
  • Knowledge of Siemens One Connect or similar edge/industrial connectivity environments would be advantageous.

All profiles will be reviewed against the required skills and experience. Due to the high number of applications we will only be able to respond to successful applicants in the first instance. We thank you for your interest and the time taken to apply!
