Associate - Healthcare Advisory

What is the position? Evercore seeks to hire a junior Associate for its Healthcare team in London.

Group Description: Evercore's EMEA Healthcare team is a highly successful and expanding franchise, advising leading healthcare clients across biopharma, services, medical technology, diagnostics, and technology-enabled healthcare. The team combines deep sector expertise, senior client relationships, and rigorous execution capabilities to deliver strategic advice on high-profile M&A and other transformative transactions, helping clients navigate complex strategic priorities in a dynamic global healthcare landscape.

Primary Responsibilities: Evercore Associates are highly motivated individuals with a broad range of experience in strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions with a focus on the Healthcare industry. Associates must demonstrate the ability to work on several projects concurrently and possess the desire to learn and work hard.

Associates will work on a variety of assignments including: preparing for and attending client meetings, financial modeling, resolving complex accounting issues, industry analysis, due diligence and new client development. Associates typically work as part of small teams and have close contact with senior client contacts as well as playing a key role in managing and mentoring junior analysts.

Specific Qualifications: The Associate will be ambitious, self-directed, creative and resourceful. The candidate will be passionately interested in a career in investment banking, intellectually curious and eager to learn.

• 3-4 years of investment banking experience; Healthcare experience would be advantageous
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and ability to articulate ideas
• Strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail
• Calm under pressure with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
