Position: Transport Administrator
Location Stanford Le Hope
Shift patterns: Monday-Friday 6am - 3pm or 9am - 6pm

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Supporting manager with accurate and timely daily brief & de-brief of drivers to the DHL standard
Preparation & reconciliation of delivery paperwork, POD's.
Monitoring vehicle routes and driver schedules through Microlise, escalating issues where necessary
Supporting the wider transport team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks
Ensuring compliance with company policies, transport legislation and Health & Safety standards
Identifying and reporting any operational concerns or compliance issues in a timely manner
Maintaining accurate records and transport documentation
Tachomaster admin & reporting

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Previous experience within a transport, logistics or distribution environment is essential
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Experience using transport management systems such as Paragon (Desirable) Microlise and/or Tachomaster
Understanding of driver hours regulations, Working Time Directive (WTD) requirements and transport compliance
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
The ability to prioritise workload and remain calm under pressure
