Shift patterns: Working 4 on 4 off, 6:30am-6:30pm & 6:30pm-6:30am on rotation
Location: East Midlands Gateway - Derby

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Traffic Administrator to join our busy operations team, working within the Gatehouse. This is a key role at the heart of the operation, responsible for managing vehicle movements, supporting drivers and visitors, and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic in and out of the site.

As the first point of contact for drivers, customers, and visitors, you'll play a vital role in maintaining site security, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the efficient running of the transport operation.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Manage all vehicle arrivals and departures through the gatehouse
• Check in and check out drivers, contractors, and site visitors
• Accurately record vehicle movements and maintain relevant documentation
• Liaise with warehouse and transport teams to coordinate vehicle arrivals and loading schedules
• Monitor and communicate trailer availability and parking locations
• Process delivery paperwork, manifests, and transport documentation
• Maintain accurate records using internal systems and Microsoft Office applications

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous administration experience within a logistics, transport, warehouse, or gatehouse environment is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• Experience working with transport management systems would be advantageous
