Location: Milton Keynes (MK4 3FU)
Grade: RCS. N
Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours (08:00-16:00)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

As a First Line Manager at our Milton Keynes Digital Centre Multi-User site, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, driving performance, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. ✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Control Tower team (various different contract)
Track real-time performance using dashboards and reporting tools- Smart Prod
Deliver team member performance reviews (1-2-1's), development and/or succession planning, providing coaching as appropriate
Support and contribute towards briefing activities such as performance management appraisals, comms zone briefs, PD boards, disciplinaries and grievances, informal / formal conversations
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures
Handle operational issues, escalations, and incident resolution
Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to management

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Previous people management experience (First Line Manager/Shift Manager/Team Leader) is essential
Experience with Smart Analytics and/or SmartProd would be a significant advantageous
Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating and working with formulas
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
Good analytical and numerical skills
IT literate - WMS and Microsoft packages
