Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

  • Have at least 12 months of recent Class 1 driving experience

  • Are comfortable carrying out manual handling activities as part of the role

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Class 1 Driver to join our Skelmersdale site, playing a key role in keeping our supply chain moving.

Working as part of a dedicated transport team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of automotive parts across our UK network, helping to ensure deliveries reach their destination on time, every time.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

What you'll do

  • Trunking collections and deliveries of automotive parts between Distribution Centres across the UK using double-deck trailers

  • Carrying out manual handling duties, including the loading and unloading of trailersDriving safely, professionally and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours regulations and the Working Time Directive

  • Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all transport documentation is completed accurately

  • Maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, complying with The Highway Code, road safety legislation and company procedures at all times

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: £41, 691.78
Grade: RCS P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 50 hours Monday - Friday start times between 12:30pm and 2:30pm
Location: Skelmersdale, WN8 8DY
