The role

This role is responsible for supporting the Exposure Management team in the analysis of both natural and non natural catastrophe exposures and risks across managed syndicates.
The role involves producing management information, scenario analysis, and supporting the development and validation of models and methodologies for cat risk.
The analyst will also contribute to business planning, capital setting, and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Exposure Management team in implementation of the Exposure Management framework.
Monitor and report on syndicates' compliance with exposure management requirements.
Support the monitoring of managed syndicates operational performance against plans/ procedures, escalating exceptions to the Head of EM.
Oversee the monitoring of data quality on managed syndicates underwriting systems.
Contribute to the SBF submission and capital setting process, including assessing accuracy of returns and supporting Asta assessment of the logical, realistic and achievable nature of plan.
Support with preparation of Lloyd's returns including RDS/LCM interacting with Syndicate EM teams as required.
Support the maintenance and continued development of the Exposure Management analytics and MI to facilitate effective oversight, insights, and decision making

Skills & Expertise

Previous experience of the Lloyd's environment through data management, underwriting support or exposure management.
Knowledge of approaches to Exposure Management.
(Re)insurance knowledge to support appropriate interrogation of Exposure Management data.
Data manipulation, analytics, and presentation skills, including SQL and Tableau
