What we're looking for

  • Hands-on RPA development experience using Blue Prism HQ
  • Strong understanding of process automation, data handling, and exception management
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments
  • Clear and confident communication and collaboration skills
  • Eligibility to undergo government clearance

5+ years UK residency, (with no extended periods outside of the UK), in order to meet the necessary level of security vetting required.

** You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years in order to meet the security vetting required for this role **

Nice to have

  • RPA certifications are advantageous

Contract: 12-month FTC

Location: Hybrid working with 1 day onsite in Bristol

Salary: £58,000 - £61,000

Data Careers is recruiting experienced RPA Developers for critical UK government programmes. These roles are ideal for automation professionals with public sector experience who are eligible and prepared to undergo security vetting.

What you'll do

As an RPA Developer you will be responsible for the following:

  • Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions using platforms such as Blue Prism or Blue Prism HQ.
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities across government operations
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation and support the full lifecycle of automation delivery
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and fully aligned with public sector compliance and security standards
  • Continuously optimize and maintain deployed bots to improve performance
