The role

Build your career in New Homes Sales with Dandara!

Are you a natural people person who loves delivering great customer service? Looking for an exciting career opportunity where your personality, enthusiasm and ambition matter just as much as your experience?

At Dandara, we don't just build houses - we create beautiful homes and communities where people love to live.

We're looking for a friendly, motivated and customer-focused New Homes Sales Consultant to join our Isle of Man team, helping customers find their perfect home.

You don't need previous experience in new homes sales to join us. We're keen to hear from people with backgrounds in retail, hospitality, customer service, estate agency or other sales environments who are looking to take their next career step. This role will be based at our Douglas Sales Office.

If you're confident, approachable, organised and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

As a New Homes Sales Consultant, you'll be the welcoming face of Dandara, helping customers through one of the most exciting and important purchases they'll ever make.

  • Making a great first impression - welcoming prospective buyers to our developments and show homes, creating a friendly and professional experience.

  • Helping customers find their dream home - understanding what they're looking for, showcasing our properties and explaining the features and benefits of each home.

  • Building lasting relationships - supporting customers throughout their homebuying journey, from their initial enquiry through to receiving their keys.

  • Supporting the sales process - responding to enquiries, arranging viewings, following up with potential purchasers and helping secure reservations.

  • Personalising the experience - helping customers explore optional extras and upgrades to make their new home their own.

  • Working together - liaising with colleagues, mortgage advisers and legal representatives to ensure sales progress smoothly.

  • Keeping things organised - maintaining accurate customer records, updating our sales system and ensuring our show homes and sales areas always look their best.

  • Creating memorable moments - helping with home demonstrations and preparing for the exciting day customers collect their keys.

  • Learning about the local market - developing your understanding of our Isle of Man developments, available properties and the wider housing market.

How you'll work

You'll work five days out of seven, including weekends, with two consecutive days off during the week, normally Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday.

As weekends are an important time for customers to visit our developments, you'll need to be comfortable with regular weekend working.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with the right attitude, personality and potential. Previous property sales experience would be welcome, but it's certainly not essential.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, whether that's retail, hospitality, customer service, sales or a similar environment.

  • A friendly, confident and approachable personality.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with people.

  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Confidence using computers and learning new systems.

  • The drive to achieve targets and contribute to a successful team.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to build a successful career.

If you've never worked in housebuilding before, don't let that put you off applying. We'll help you develop the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

Why join Dandara?

We're proud of our reputation for building beautifully designed homes, delivering exceptional customer service and being part of the communities in which we work.
