We're looking for a Retail Business Development Manager to drive sustainable sales performance across the portfolio of retail stores.

The role is centred on regular store visits, hands-on support and consistent execution of commercial and sales standards.

The objective is to help Store Managers and their teams deliver against revenue, margin and product mix targets through structured performance reviews, coaching, training and local sales activity.

The role plays a critical part in translating O2 Business retail strategy into effective store execution, using performance insight to improve capability, consistency and commercial outcomes.

Job Title: Retail Business Development Manager

Salary: £45,000 plus commission

Location: Field Based

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 - 17:00/17:30 (37.5 hours)

What You'll Be Doing

As a Retail Business Development Manager, you will:

• Drive growth across O2 Business branded products by improving conversion, product mix, upsell and cross-sell performance.
• Work collaboratively with Store Managers to create and execute store growth plans based on local opportunities and performance data.
• Support stores with larger or more complex customer opportunities by engaging relevant product sales specialists.
• Identify underperformance early and implement focused recovery plans to improve run-rate sales and store productivity.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing performance across multiple retail stores or locations.
• Strong B2B background, ideally within telecoms or a comparable target-driven environment.
• Demonstrable success in improving sales and operational performance.
• Ability to coach and influence Regional Zone Leads, Store Managers and frontline colleagues effectively.
• Strong commercial judgement and confidence using performance data to set priorities and actions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organisation and time-management capability.
• Confident collaborator, comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams.
