Stores Marketing: Digital Innovation Program Support Manager
London
Currys London Campus at Waterloo
Permanent
Full Time
Grade 3
At Currys we're united by one passion: to help everyone enjoy amazing technology. As the UK's best-known retailer of tech, we're proud of the service our customers receive - and it's all down to our team of 25,000 caring and committed colleagues. Working as one team, we learn and grow together, celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.
You'll sit within the Stores GTM function, reporting to Stores Marketing: Digital Innovation Program Manager. We set the marketing standard for how Currys looks, feels and performs in store - from showcase and demo programmes to digital in-store content and supplier brand partnerships. We're a team with genuine creative ambition and commercial discipline, and we take real pride in making Currys stores a brilliant place to shop.
You'll work across the full GTM function, partnering with Senior Stores GTM Managers and Stores GTM Managers to make sure in-store marketing is executed brilliantly within every category. You'll own senior relationships with supplier and brand partners, building programmes that grow retail media income and create compelling customer experiences across our in-store digital platforms. You'll also work closely with the Stores Transformation team on format changes and new store development, acting as the gatekeeper for digital marketing standards across the estate.
Role overview:
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for
• Supporting the end-to-end execution: Ensure plans are on-brief, high quality, and aligned to business objectives. Challenge thinking constructively and deliver accurate, engaging in-store campaigns.
• Owning the critical path: Stay organised, connect the dots, and keep the plan on track - course-correcting and managing stakeholders when issues arise.
• Supporting delivery of the metrics: Be clear on what we're driving (RFT, colleague/customer engagement, sales, ROI) and manage target-setting and reporting with stakeholders.
• Supporting with shaping customer perceptions and winning hearts and minds by reinforcing our rational and emotional USPs. Use innovation, technology, and digital to deliver a seamless retail-to-online experience and long-term ROI.
• Supporting with building strong working relationships with IT, Online Development, and Technology to stay ahead of key initiatives and ensure retail marketing is embedded in omnichannel ways of working and customer solutions.
• Supporting the delivery best-in-class service to both external and internal customers by simplifying processes and execution.
• Supporting with holding suppliers accountable for delivering in-store content to new and existing fixtures in line with SLAs. Understand how CMS systems capture data to continually improve the customer experience.
You will need
• To pioneer innovative new approaches to how we do things. Convince the business to do things it never really dreamed of and then make that stuff happen.
• A real keen eye for detail. There is a need for ability to interrogate briefs to ensure all detail required is obtained as well as the ability to write clear, insightful, and motivating briefs. Copy writing and proof-reading experience would be a real bonus.
• The confidence to help run a multi-functional group through an interdependent timing plan, thinking a few steps ahead to make sure we're doing things when we need to do them (and getting external inputs in a timely manner too.
• To be a brilliant problem solver. You must be able to help groups of people properly understand the problems they face, look at a variety of innovative solutions and then settle on the right one, convincing the necessary stakeholders of whatever that solution may be.
• You'll be a team player. You'll need to practice excellent active listening skills and work closely with all sorts of specialists to deliver a brilliant end to end plan - often stepping outside of the formal role description described in this document - but without going too far to lose focus on what we're here for.
• Efficient project management skills.
• A passion for digital marketing and complex customer journeys

• To be passionate about customer engagement and communication
• Strong stakeholder management skills
