The role

If you're someone who finds purpose in helping others, we'd love you to join us as a Night Support Worker at Burnrigg Court, Carlisle. We have the following roles available 28.5 hours, 29.25 hours and 29.125 hours, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.91 per hour with £15 sessional payment.

At Burnrigg, you'll be part of a caring, dedicated team supporting older adults to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity through the night. Our residential home is warm, welcoming and centred around helping residents stay healthy, emotionally supported, and as independent as possible.

As a Night Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant), you'll get to know each person as an individual. Your work may involve providing personal care, assisting with medication, offering reassurance and companionship, and promoting wellbeing. What matters most is having the right values - kindness, reliability, and a genuine desire to make a difference. If you already have experience, this could be a great step forward in your care career, with plenty of opportunity to grow and develop your skills.

Burnrigg offers 24‑hour care, so you'll be working night shifts as part of a rota that includes alternate weekends and bank holidays. In return, you'll be joining a supportive team within a large organisation that invests in its people and helps them succeed.

If you're friendly, compassionate and ready to make a real difference during the night hours, we'd love to hear from you. Simply complete our online application form and our recruitment team will get in touch to help you find the right fit.
