What you'll do
Job requirements of a Hanger/EV Operative:
We are looking for a hanger to join our established team here at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for working as part of a small team. Placing chickens onto shackles, that rotate around a conveyor ready for the next stage of the process. You will also be required to complete other duties within the EV department.
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment in a timely manner
· Working closely with your team to ensure all shackles are filled
· This is a labour-intensive role and physically demanding as you will be standing for long periods of time
. To support with the general production of our chicken products, duties will include but are not limited to; offal packing, grading of organs and more when off rotation as a hanger.
How you'll work
Shift Pattern - 4 days a week on a 3 week rotating shift pattern 3:30-14:00
What you will need
- Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
- Enjoy working to targets in a fast paced environment
- Possess high standards of work
- Have a basic level of both written and verbal English
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Ideally have experience of working within the food production industry, however this is not necessary as full training will be provided
