Job requirements of Effluent Treatment Plant Operator (Nights):
We are looking for an Effluent Treatment Plant Operator (Nights) to support with the running of the effluent treatment plant, optimize plant performance and maintain compliance.

Hours: 4on4off, 17:30 - 05:30

Duties

• Safely carry out all tasks set by the engineering management
• Ensure PPM's, maintenance, breakdowns and all work is carried out in a timely safe manner
• Make sure all relevant tests on the water system are completed accurately and on time
• Make sure all PPM's relating to the odour abatement system are undertaken and documented
• Daily and weekly effluent sampling and tests in accordance with ENV.810
• Oversee/undertake any testing required for R and D purposes and report back results/findings
• Monitor all tank levels, flow rates and trends and report and concerns to the engineering management
• Maintain good manufacturing practice, investigate and record hazards, risks and near misses

What you will need

• Knowledge and experience of an effluent/water treatment plant is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work on your own initiative, as well as in a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
