£16.70 per hour | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about food production and maintaining the highest quality standards? We're looking for a Cook House Sauce Chef to join our busy Cuisine Centre in Derby, playing a key role in producing premium sauces and meat-based products for our operation.

Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll be responsible for preparing ingredients, following recipes with precision and ensuring every product meets exacting quality, safety and traceability standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing sauces and meats in line with production plans and recipes
• Weighing and measuring ingredients accurately
• Maintaining full traceability records, including batch codes and temperature checks
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene and quality standards are consistently met
• Following stock rotation procedures and minimising waste
• Keeping work areas and equipment clean and organised
• Supporting operational targets and production deadlines
• Assisting other areas of the factory when required

What We're Looking For

• An interest in food production or manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to work independently and follow processes accurately
• A positive, flexible and team-focused attitude
• Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 15kg
• Previous food handling experience would be advantageous, but is not essential

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime when required
