We're looking for an ambitious and people-focused General Manager to bring our hotel to life, inspire our team and deliver exceptional experiences for every guest.

What you'll be doing

• Lead, motivate and develop a team that delivers outstanding hospitality.
• Drive revenue, profitability and commercial performance across the hotel.
• Maintain exceptional standards across bedrooms, food and beverage, housekeeping and events.
• Oversee and develop the hotel's events business, ensuring exceptional delivery of weddings, functions and special occasions.
• Create memorable guest experiences that encourage repeat visits and glowing reviews.
• Build strong relationships within the local community and make the most of Romsey's thriving market-town location.
• Take ownership of recruitment, training, budgets, costs and day-to-day operations.
• Celebrate the hotel's unique heritage while ensuring it continues to thrive for modern guests.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a General Manager or senior hospitality leadership role.
• Essential: Proven experience managing and delivering events, including functions, weddings and special occasions.
• A natural leader who inspires, supports and develops their team.
• Strong commercial awareness and a track record of delivering results.
• A passion for outstanding food, drink and guest experiences.
• A hands-on approach, excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Someone who understands that great hospitality starts with great people.
