The Role...

A well-run store is at the heart of our operation, without it, our technical teams would struggle to be successful in their roles, which would adversely impact our clients and their customers.

Within our stores we hold a variety of stock to keep the operation running, such as pipes & fittings used in the gas industry and we need you to take charge and make sure all these items are stored safely, can be found easily and records are up to date.

Here are some of the activities you'll get involved in...

• Building strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers to source the parts needed, obtain competitive quotes, and place orders efficiently.
• Receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring stock arrives as expected and promptly resolving any discrepancies.
• Recording all stock movements accurately within our stock management system, while ensuring parts are correctly labelled, stored, and maintained in suitable conditions.
• Monitoring inventory levels and proactively replenishing stock to support operational requirements.
• Supporting stock counts and audits across depots and mobile van locations to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Keeping stores areas organised, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Delivering a responsive and customer focused service to operational teams, balancing urgent requests with effective stock control processes.
• Following Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies to help maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...

You are confident using Microsoft Office applications and can quickly pick up new systems and processes. You'll have strong communication skills and enjoy building positive relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.

We're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You'll take pride in delivering excellent customer service, demonstrate a proactive and safety conscious approach, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

A practical mindset, willingness to take ownership, ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, and a full UK driving licence are also essential.

A forklift licence would be an advantage.
