The role

We do what we say!
That's why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done!

At Clancy, we're proud to work alongside Anglian Water, supporting the delivery of safe, reliable water services to thousands of customers every day. As part of this long standing partnership, we're looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience across the Anglian region.
This is more than a traditional customer service role. You'll be the link between our customers and operational teams, helping to coordinate essential work, resolve enquiries, and ensure customers remain informed and supported throughout their journey.
If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, coordinating activities, and making a real difference to customers and communities, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be a trusted point of contact for customers, helping to ensure they receive a professional, responsive, and positive experience. You'll work closely with operational teams to coordinate appointments, manage customer communications, and support the successful delivery of programmes that help improve services across the region.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll balance customer interaction with planning, administration, and stakeholder engagement, giving you the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills within a supportive and collaborative team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing customer enquiries across multiple channels, providing clear, professional, and timely support.
  • Coordinating and booking appointments while ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the process.
  • Working closely with operational teams to help deliver work efficiently and achieve excellent customer outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating systems to support performance reporting and service delivery.
  • Assisting with customer engagement campaigns and communications to increase awareness and participation in key programmes.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
  • Supporting the team in achieving service targets and delivering commitments to both customers and Anglian Water.
We'd Love to Hear From You If...

You are an organised, proactive, and customer focused individual who enjoys taking ownership, building positive relationships, and finding solutions. You may have gained your experience in customer service, administration, scheduling, coordination, contact centres, utilities, housing, logistics, retail management, or another fast paced customer facing environment. You'll be a confident communicator, comfortable engaging with customers across a range of channels, while maintaining accurate records and managing competing priorities. Strong IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team are essential. Experience with SAP or Genesys would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.

Why Join Clancy?

At Clancy, what we do matters. Every day, our teams help deliver essential infrastructure and services that support communities across the UK.
You'll join a friendly and supportive team where your contribution is valued, your ideas are encouraged, and you'll have opportunities to develop your skills and experience while helping us provide excellent service to our customers and partners.
