At MiHomecare, part of City & County Healthcare Group, we're recruiting male and female Community Support Workers who speak Bengali to support people in their own homes.
Whether you already work in care or are looking for a fresh start, bring your kindness and people skills-we'll help you build the confidence and knowledge to succeed.
Community care means getting to know people, understanding their routines and supporting their choices. From helping someone get ready for the day to preparing a meal or offering reassurance, your work will make a difference they can feel.
For these vacancies, effective spoken Bengali is essential to meet the communication needs of the people you'll support. You'll use it to understand their wishes, explain their care and help them feel heard.
We welcome applications from people of all genders and backgrounds who meet the role's requirements.
You'll support people in their own homes across Bethnal Green, Shadwell, Tower Hill, Wapping and Haggerston.
No driving licence or vehicle is required, but you must be able to travel reliably between clients' homes.
We have weekday and weekend opportunities, including daytime, evening and bedtime visits. Current care requirements include coverage around:
Shift patterns vary around these hours, depending on the care packages available. We'll discuss your availability and suitable working patterns during recruitment.
You'll follow individual care plans, helping people maintain their independence while providing support where they need it.
Some visits involve working alongside another carer to provide the support a person needs.
