Chandlers Ford Care Home is a 41 bed, purpose built care home in the village of Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, on the eastern edge of the South Downs National Park. Providing residential and nursing care, the home offers a welcoming and close knit environment with bright, stylish living spaces, an enclosed garden and comfortable shared areas. Kitchen Assistant

• £13.45 to £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential
