The role
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Development Site Manager you will work alongside the development team to ensure the site Programme is planned and effectively monitored on a daily basis. You will be supporting the Site Manager in managing all site resources including labour, plant and materials as well as on-site health and safety and client customer service. Under the guidance of the Site Manager, you will also be responsible for managing sub-contractors by giving them clear direction and clarifying expectations in all aspects of site delivery. You will participate in and create a culture where operatives recognise risks to prevent issues arising, ultimately working towards a proactive response rather than a reactive system. You will ensure that Health and Safety standards are maintained through a constant checking process and you will be confident in taking immediate corrective action if you witness a breach of the Cala guidelines. As an Assistant Site Manager you will also be expected to take ownership of site issues and ensure they are dealt with promptly. You must appreciate the importance of excellent customer satisfaction and resolving customer service issues.
