Nursery Room Leader in Norwich

At Busy Bees Norwich Airport, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Room Leader to join our dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early years professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional childcare and education while supporting and inspiring colleagues to achieve their best. As a Room Leader, you will take ownership of your room, ensuring children receive outstanding care and learning experiences in a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment.

As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of care and education within your room.

• Leading and motivating a team of educators to deliver outstanding childcare and learning experiences.
• Planning and delivering engaging activities that support children's development and individual learning journeys.
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
• Building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
• Monitoring children's progress and ensuring high-quality observations and assessments are completed.
• Acting as a role model within the nursery, supporting colleagues and promoting best practice across the setting.
• Supporting the management team to maintain compliance with EYFS requirements and Busy Bees' standards.
• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Busy Bees Norwich Airport is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with capacity for 112 children. Our experienced and diverse team is passionate about providing high-quality care and education while building strong relationships with families and the wider community.

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families.
