What you'll get

We offer a flexible and hybrid working model. Our comprehensive benefits package includes private medical insurance, pension contributions, an employee assistance programme, and a range of wellbeing initiatives. Enhanced parental leave is also available, reflecting our commitment to supporting you through every stage of your career and life.

Many of our people work flexibly in some way and we're open to considering how we can accommodate flexible working arrangements alongside role requirements. If this is important to you, please talk to us about it during the recruitment process.

The role

We're expanding our employment team at Browne Jacobson and looking for employment lawyers who have strong experience in employment litigation.

You will work on a wide variety of employment litigation matters, including complex tribunal hearings, whistleblowing cases, Equality Act claims, and High Court disputes. You'll collaborate with colleagues and clients across the private sector, health, education, government, and financial services, gaining exposure to high-profile cases and making a real impact.

We are committed to supporting your growth from day one, offering clear career progression pathways whether you aspire to partnership, or a specialist senior counsel role. You will benefit from genuine business development support, helping you build your profile and client base with confidence.

You will have the autonomy to manage your own matters and develop direct relationships with clients, backed by a team that values collaboration and mutual support. Our employment team operates with a collegiate ethos, sharing knowledge and working together to solve complex issues.

Professional development is central to our culture. We will support your attendance at key employment law conferences, and encourage you to share your expertise through speaking and writing opportunities.
