What you'll be doing
As a qualified Dispensing Optician, you will be providing a high level of customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers and keep them coming back. You will work in one of our stores, reporting to the Store Manager.

Key responsibilities
• Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing
• Inspiring your Optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the very best service.
• Listening to the needs of customers and offer expertise and advice.
• Helping our customers to choose the correct eyewear and offer guidance to ensure our customers receive the best product suited to their needs.
• Supporting the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes to ensure that the business trades legally.
• Providing expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements.

What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
• Passion for your own learning and development, completing all CPD training as part of the GOC requirement.

Dispensing Opticians!

We are looking for a passionate Dispensing Optician, to join us in our Paignton practice!

This position is full-time, working 5 days a week - ideally, we are looking for someone who has availability across Saturday / Sundays and whilst Paignton would be your base practice, we would like the successful candidate to be open to working in Torquay and Newton Abbott if required.

The Paignton practice sits on the main high street and is within easy walking distance to the beach - perfect for those lunch break steps! This is a busy, free standing practice within amazing opportunities for children's dispensing. Whilst the practice does not have parking, as it sits within a pedestrian zone it is within a short 5 minute walk to the train and bus stations.
