What you'll do
As Global Innovation Manager in No7 Beauty Company you’ll help shape Boots’ Beauty Tech pipeline from our Nottingham base, turning consumer insight, market trends and emerging technology into ideas that can be tested, refined and scaled. Sitting within the marketing function, you’ll lead strategic incubation programmes end to end — from ideation and validation through to development, delivery and evaluation.
This is a role for someone who enjoys moving between creative thinking and commercial reality. You’ll work across functions and with external tech specialists to build consumer-facing trials, generate clear learning for the business and influence how innovation feeds into the wider brand portfolio and 3YP product pipelines.
- Fuel the Beauty Tech incubator pipeline by identifying and validating new initiatives rooted in consumer desirability, market opportunity, technical feasibility and commercial viability
- Lead the end-to-end incubation pipeline, from early ideation through development, delivery and post-trial evaluation
- Turn consumer, category and market insight into compelling innovation opportunities for the No7 Beauty X team
- Use data-driven analysis to assess trial performance and report clear outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders
- Partner with external tech specialists to conceptualise, develop and rapidly test consumer-facing beauty tech propositions
- Work cross-functionally with teams across the business to move ideas forward and build support for innovation priorities
- Feed market expertise and innovation thinking into 3YP brand product pipelines to support future growth ambitions
- Balance creativity with commercial judgement to help shape propositions that are imaginative, relevant and scalable
- Contribute to a collaborative, solution-focused team environment where learning, ownership and progress matter
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
- In-depth knowledge of the beauty market
- A genuine passion for beauty and skincare
- Strong curiosity about solving consumer challenges and uncovering unmet needs
- Experience turning ideas and insight into commercially relevant propositions
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders in a fast-moving environment
- Confidence leading work from discovery through to concept development, testing and delivery
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and trial outcomes to inform decisions
- A collaborative, agile and solution-oriented approach
It would be great if you also have
- Experience working at the intersection of beauty, innovation and technology
- Experience partnering with external specialists, agencies or technical providers to develop and test new propositions
- Exposure to consumer-facing trials, pilots or incubation programmes within a brand or innovation setting
- Experience influencing longer-term product pipeline or portfolio planning
- The resilience and self-drive to keep momentum in ambiguous or evolving areas of innovation
Where your brilliance can take you
