Principal Scientist, Biologics

• PhD or equivalent, with additional industrial or academic research experience in biologics engineering, structural biology, protein science, bioengineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, engineering, or characterizing biologics.

As a Principal Scientist in Biologics, you will play a central role in shaping Boltz Lab's platform by bringing deep biological insight into how our machine learning systems are designed, evaluated, and used by scientists. You will ensure that the models and tools we build reflect real-world biologics engineering workflows and address the practical challenges faced by researchers working on antibodies, peptides, and other biologic modalities.

You will work closely with ML researchers and engineers to guide model development, from defining biologically meaningful objectives and datasets to interpreting model outputs and failure modes. Your scientific expertise will directly influence product decisions, helping translate cutting-edge ML research into capabilities that are intuitive, trustworthy, and impactful for scientists in the lab.
