IT Sourcing Manager

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded IT Sourcing Manager to play a key role in driving the effective delivery and continuous improvement of sourcing, supplier management, workforce planning and financial governance activities across our IT function. Working in close partnership with IT leadership and stakeholders across Finance, Human Resources, Procurement and Operations, you will help ensure that sourcing activities are strategically aligned, cost-effective and delivered in accordance with internal policies and contractual commitments.

This is a diverse and highly visible position, offering the opportunity to influence supplier performance, resource planning and operational efficiency across a global technology environment. You will manage sourcing activities, support offshore resource management, oversee supplier and contract administration, and provide meaningful financial and operational insight to support business decision-making.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the IT sourcing strategy and roadmap
• Manage sourcing activity across IT, Human Resources, Procurement, Finance and operational teams
• Maintain workforce plan, headcount data, skills matches, training plans and internal/external sourcing metrics
• Maintain the contract and supplier inventory, renewal schedule, service review calendar and supporting documentation
• Manage supplier reviews and prepare performance packs, scorecards, minutes and action logs
• Support IT budget planning, forecasting, reconciliation and monthly reporting activities
• Monitor supplier spend, contractor costs, purchase order utilisation and financial commitments
• Provide direct line management for designated offshore team members, including regular one-to-one meetings, objective setting, development planning and wellbeing support.

Location: Solihull; a flexible hybrid working model which supports you as well as enabling you to work collaboratively with your colleagues

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

• Understanding of supplier management, contract administration, sourcing processes, workforce planning, budgeting and people management principles
• Experience in an IT, PMO, procurement, supplier management, finance or resource planning environment
• Experience in managing stakeholders and maintaining accurate records and action plan
• Experience in supervising, leading or managing team members across locations and cultures
