The role
We are looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at our Bedford Distribution Centre, working a 36-hour fixed shift pattern / Sunday - Tuesday Nights 19:00 - 07:00. If you're passionate about safety, security, and maintaining high standards, this could be the role for you!
As a Distribution Security Officer, you'll play a key part in safeguarding our people, assets, and operations. The role can be challenging, but it's also highly rewarding and offers great support from an experienced team. We're looking for someone who is vigilant, assertive, resilient, and a helpful team player with a genuine interest in security.
What you'll do
- Managing and controlling all access to the site
- Booking vehicles in and out
- Writing accurate and timely incident reports
- Conducting vehicle and colleague searches
- Responding quickly to security incidents
- Completing regular internal and external patrols
- Carrying out daily and weekly audits
- Engaging in physical duties as required
