Our planning team is growing, and we are looking to recruit an experienced Planning Enforcement Team Leader to lead and develop a proactive and effective enforcement service across the district.
This is an exciting time to join our team. Following the recent launch of our Local Plan, the district is set to experience substantial growth, bringing new and varied challenges for our planning service and opportunities for you to develop your career.
You will be an effective team player, with experience of managing a varied and complex caseload. You will have extensive knowledge of, and experience in, planning enforcement, enabling you to confidently manage complex cases, monitor sites, serve formal notices and prepare documents for court.
Alongside this, your proven management skills will enable you to lead, motivate and develop the team while managing competing priorities and maintaining a high-quality enforcement service.
Strong communication, negotiation and report-writing skills, together with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders and achieve positive enforcement outcomes are also required.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape this service to deliver on its goals, with full support given by the Development Services Manager and wider team.
To find out more about the role, please contact Glen Baker-Adams, Development Services and Enforcement Manager on 0116 272 7565 for an informal discussion.
