Requirements
What we're looking for
· Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
· Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
· Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
· Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
· Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
· Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
· Good communication and customer service skills
· Good awareness of health & safety procedures

The role
This is a great job if you like to work using your own initiative and leading teams, in the outdoors, carrying out a role where you can make a difference to the local environment and communities.
What you'll do
Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
How you'll work
Location: CV34 6TF
Days of work: Monday to Friday
Start and finish times: 06.15 to 15.15
