This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Associate Ground Engineer to join an award-winning team working across multiple sectors, including power distribution, rail, highways and defense. The role is based in our London office to lead and grow a new team in this location. The ideal candidate will be an established Geotechnical Engineer or Geo-Environmental Engineer.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable engineering geology/geotechnical engineering or geo - environmental engineering experience within a design consultancy, with the ability to develop and lead a new regional team.
Expert understanding of ground engineering issues, including desk studies, ground investigation specifications, technical report writing, and ground modelling, is required. As is the ability to win work and develop a client portfolio.
Our works cover the whole of the United Kingdom with schemes delivered as far north as Shetland and as far south as Devon. The role will expose the successful candidate to a range of challenging site and ground conditions rather than being siloed within a region's geology.
The team is dynamic and values fresh innovative ideas! There is a great spirit across the wider team who often get together for social events.
