What we're looking for
- IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing operational requirements.
Education & certifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Category C+E Driving Licence (desirable)
- Category H Driving Licence (desirable)
- Material Handling Equipment Operator certification (desirable)
- Experience within vehicle logistics, fleet management or a Ministry of Defence environment (desirable)
- Knowledge of Motor Transport Safety Regulations (desirable)

The role

The role
As a Driver, you'll play a vital role in supporting the safe movement, storage, inspection and basic maintenance of military vehicles across the Ashchurch site. Working within a busy logistics operation, you'll help ensure vehicles and assets are maintained, available and ready to meet customer and operational requirements.

What you'll do
Day-to-day, you will be required to:
- Transport vehicles and assets safely across the site
- Load and unload vehicles and equipment in line with operational requirements
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance checks, including oil and fluid inspections
- Support vehicle storage operations and maintain the condition of assets
- Report faults and maintain accurate records and documentation.
