What we're looking for

Strong corporate legal background or M&A advisory experience.
Excellent understanding of M&A transactions and transactional risk exposures.
Strong relationship management skills with trading partners, including brokers, clients, and professional advisers.
Proven ability to negotiate complex transactions and make sound underwriting decisions.
Experience supporting, mentoring, or developing colleagues within a professional environment.

Nice to have

Previous experience underwriting M&A, Warranties & Indemnities, Tax, Contingent and/or other Transactional Risk insurance products.
Experience working on international or multi-jurisdictional transactions.
An established network within the M&A insurance market.

About the company & team

The M&A team within Aviva Global Corporate & Specialty helps to deliver profitable growth across our transactional risk portfolio. The team provides specialist Warranties & Indemnities, Tax and Contingent insurance solutions for M&A transactions as well as underwrite complex and time-sensitive M&A risks while building strong relationships with brokers, clients and colleagues.

You'll help to strengthen and maintain our reputation for technical excellence, trusted advice and quality service delivery. As a senior member of the team, you'll also support junior colleagues' development and contribute to the continued growth of the business. We have proudly built a unique hybrid M&A book and our objective is to firmly establish ourselves as a strong, trusted and sustainable corporate M&A insure.
