About the role

As a Property Co-ordinator in our property management team, you will take ownership of maintenance queries from first report through to resolution. You will provide a responsive, professional service, keep everyone informed and work closely with contractors and lettings offices to achieve the right outcome.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys solving problems, building positive relationships and staying organised in a busy customer service environment. At Arun Estates, we do not stop until we are proud of the result.

The package

Basic salary: £25,113

Work pattern: Monday to Friday - two days from 9am to 5pm and three days from 9am to 5.30pm.

Additional benefits: 33 days' paid holiday, an extra day off for your birthday, pension, life insurance, company rewards and incentives, a structured career path, access to an Employee Assistance Scheme, and paid entry fees for charitable events.

What's in it for you?

A competitive salary package

A company that values its customers and colleagues and is currently rated 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot

Regular employee feedback, with a satisfaction rate of more than 90%

Ongoing professional development and a structured career path

Opportunities to grow your career within the department

The chance to be part of a company that gives back to the community and has raised millions for charity

What you'll do

Take ownership of property maintenance queries from first report through to resolution, keeping landlords and tenants informed throughout

Record, prioritise and progress maintenance issues efficiently, following agreed procedures and escalating urgent, safety-related or complex matters appropriately

Provide clear, practical and professional advice to landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues

Ensure all property compliance requirements are up to date and valid

Arrange and review routine property visits, following up on any actions required

Review end-of-tenancy reports and co-ordinate any required next steps

Negotiate deposit deductions at the end of a tenancy, communicating clearly with landlords and tenants

Co-ordinate with lettings offices to complete end-of-tenancy and pre-tenancy tasks on time

Follow up on commitments and help deliver a consistently high standard of customer service

What we're looking for

Experience in lettings, property management, maintenance co-ordination or another busy customer service environment would be helpful, but it is not essential. We will provide training for someone who can learn quickly, take ownership and apply processes consistently.

You listen carefully, communicate clearly by phone and email, and build positive working relationships

You can organise a varied workload, prioritise competing requests and keep accurate records

You remain calm and professional when circumstances change or issues need urgent attention

You use sound judgement, know when to escalate and stay focused on finding practical solutions

You are comfortable using email, databases and standard office systems, and are willing to learn our property management tools and processes

You follow through on commitments, support colleagues and do what you say you will do

Our culture

Courtesy, honesty, trust and respect shape how we work with customers and with one another. You will be a good fit if you take responsibility for your work, communicate openly, support your team and aim to do the right thing-even when a situation is challenging.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
