This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with operations, engineering, and finance teams to ensure continuity of supply, manage strategic supplier relationships, and deliver value across significant CAPEX and OPEX spend. You'll also oversee import/export activities and lead a small procurement team.

As AO Recycling continues to grow, this role offers excellent opportunities to influence business strategy and develop your career.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • Delivering cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing supply chain risk and ensuring continuity of supply.
  • Overseeing import and export activities.
  • Monitoring supplier performance through KPIs.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Leading and developing a small procurement team.

You'll have:

  • Proven procurement management experience within a medium or large business.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Experience delivering measurable cost savings and process improvements.
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing, stock management, and supply chain risk.
  • Experience working with operational and senior stakeholders.
  • CIPS Level 6 qualification (essential).
  • A proactive approach and a passion for building strong supplier relationships.
