The role
Would you like to help Enterprise customers modernize and become AI-ready by migrating to AWS? Would you like to work with world-class partners who deliver that transformation at scale?
We are seeking an experienced professional for the strategic role of Partner Migration Program Lead, focused on the Enterprise (ENT) segment in UKI (UK & Ireland). Migration is the foundation of modernization and AI readiness, and partners are central to delivering it for Enterprise customers. You will own the migration goals for our partners in UKI, work with a Migration PSA (Partner Solutions Architect) for technical depth, and leverage proven programs - including the Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) and AWS Transform - to help partners migrate and modernize Enterprise workloads faster.
You will work with selected consulting and systems integrator partners, their PDMs, and AWS account teams to create commercial propositions that convert pipeline into large Enterprise migrations. You will help partners move beyond lift-and-shift toward modernization and toward outcome-based commercial models, using AI-powered tooling to accelerate and de-risk migration delivery.
By building business and technical relationships and collaborating on joint sales engagements, you will drive pipeline to delivery, and the expansion of the partners' AWS migration practice.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the Partner Migrations goals in UKI from sale to delivery alongside Partner recruitment and enablement
- Identify and develop Migration Competency partners in UKI and support local partner leadership on migrations goals
- Help partners move Enterprise workloads beyond lift-and-shift into modernization via AWS Transform, and toward outcome-based commercial models
- Drive partner adoption of AI-powered tooling that accelerates and de-risks migration delivery, shortening time-to-value
- Act as a migration subject-matter expert to help close SI partner migration deals, leveraging AWS migration program funding
- Lead the enablement of internal and external partner teams on AWS migration programs, including MAP and AWS Transform
- Work with partners to build top-of-funnel pipeline and progress it through the sales stages via ACE and Partner Central
- Support partners to deliver key MAP activities: Assess, Mobilize, and Migrate & Modernize
- Maintain a monthly and quarterly MAP forecast for UKI
A day in the life
You spend your days with partners - building trusted relationships and enabling them to grow a thriving migration practice. Listening to what customers across the region need and working with AWS sales and account teams, you'll build the partner capabilities, skills, and joint go-to-market plans that meet those needs. A big part of the role is enabling partners on migrations and their business model - helping them move from one-off, time-and-materials work toward repeatable, outcome-based delivery that scales. You'll be the migration expert partners rely on, bring in your Migration PSA for technical depth, and champion modernization, not just migration - so partners build lasting capability and deliver real outcomes for customers.
