Commercial Manager - Procurement

Location: London / Hybrid
Rate: Up to £529.95 per day Umbrella
Contract: 6 months rolling

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead complex, high-value procurement activities across corporate services. You will manage strategic procurement projects, develop sourcing strategies and work closely with senior stakeholders, suppliers and legal teams to deliver value for money.

Procurement categories include consultancy, professional services, contingent labour and engineering/project-related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex procurement exercises from strategy through to contract award.

• Develop procurement strategies and conduct market analysis.

• Manage tender evaluations, supplier selection and commercial negotiations.

• Engage with senior stakeholders and provide commercial advice.

• Work with legal teams on contract terms and conditions.

• Manage frameworks, contracts and supplier relationships.

About You

You will have significant public sector procurement experience, particularly in services procurement, and a track record of managing large, complex procurement exercises.

You will also have:

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

• Experience in procurement strategy, tender evaluation and negotiations.

• Confidence working with legal teams and managing contracts.

• Experience managing frameworks and supplier relationships.

A CIPS qualification is desirable, but relevant experience will be considered. SAP Ariba experience is advantageous, although training can be provided.

Working Arrangements

The role is predominantly remote, with typically one office day per week at Pier Walk, near The O2 in London. A company laptop will be provided.
